The Isle of Wight League matches were played today. The League is now postponed until we get a re-open date. Revised fixture list as soon as practical. Stay safe everyone
Congratulations to CORFU, who having won their two remaining matches in the Greek Island short mat League, have clinched the title.

Martin has prepared the new Formula One Short Mat which starts on Wednesday 14th October. The matches will be played over 18 ends with 2 trial ends and a max time of 90mins, with 15mins to clean the equipment.
The first Two Months fixtures have been prepared to start on Thursday 8th October, based on a 3 Wood Pairs Competition.
The matches will be played over 14 ends, no trial ends.
Additional matches are scheduled for Mondays to give more games for more players.
This will be reviewed monthly with any changes necessary due to COVID restrictions.
Up to 6 players are now permitted for organised indoor sport. This could change BUT at present the Isle of Wight League remains as Pairs.
The Bar will be table service only.
Masks or coverings MUST be worn in the Club except when eating or drinking at a table or for when playing in a game.
Track and trace is in place, so please sign in and out.
A One Way system is in place, entry at the main rear door and exit via the fire exit. (Sorry to the Ladies making use of the toilet, a long way round for you!!)

Wednesday F1 Short Mat
Congratulations to Team Barton Broads for winning the Wednesday Shot Mat League. (Martin Shrimpton, Ken Page, Chris Matthews, Sandra Dean, Maisie Galloway, Barbara Strong and Margaret Carroll.)
Short mat bowls are played at the club from October to April. Internal club matches are played as two leagues, one on Wednesdays and one on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays (Club night). Teams comprise of approximately six players who play games of pairs. Short mat bowls are open to any member of the club.
